I would start with one of my own, but I personally can't really recall a video game plot twist that shocked me too much. Most of the time I see 'em coming.

Anyway, tell me all about the most shocking plot twist that you've ever encountered in a video game! And remember, this thread will be full of spoilers about... well, pretty much every game ever. So unless you've played... every game ever, I guess, stray away!
